At TSDPAC we offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, acro, musical theater, tumbling, strength, technique, and barre technique for all age groups from 18 months to 18 years. Our classes are all leveled from Beginner to Advanced so every student is in a class that speaks to them and creates an environment where they can learn and grow. We strive to teach our students at the highest level and complete technique and training while having a great time and tons of fun! We start classes in September and run through the end May. Our classes run Monday-Saturday in both Skaneateles and Syracuse locations.
This is our in house ballet company. These students are focused on ballet and strive to work on body positions, technique, and ability level. These dancers attend 3-4 ballet classes a week and a Company Rehearsal on Saturday morning. Students take such classes as ballet, barre technique, pre-pointe, pointe, lyrical, strength, and technique. We believe in growing students into their ballet technique with proper training, excellent critique, traditional ballet methodolgy and consistency. Student are taught to appreciate ballet for the foundation that it gives them across all disciplines. They are featured dancers in our annual Nutcracker in December and perform beautiful variations for our Spring Recital.
Our Competition Teams are for students 6-18 years old. We offer multiple levels and age groups over three different teams. These dancers need to have 2-4 years of dance experience and have participated in our CoCo Auditions as well as our Competition Choreography Bootcamp. Competition dancers are multi-disciplinary students with a focus on various styles and techniques. Our teams and solo/duo/trios compete at competitions and conventions throughout the spring. We make it a focus with our dancers to do their best while still having fun and enjoying the moment! Being able to take the judges critiques and use them as a stair step to take their dancing to a higher level.
