5 WAYS TSDPAC SUMMER CLASSES ARE KEEPIN' SUMMER BRIGHT

KEEPIN' IT ACTIVE

We have all seen a child become one with the sofa during the lazy days of the summertime. Activity levels can decrease up to 50% during the summer. Regular activity in children can improve cardiorespiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.  You can keep your child active by signing up for an invigorating and stimulating class, whether it’s dancing, tumbling, or ninja, we keep them moving!

KEEPIN' IT STRUCTURED

During the school year, students are in a constant state of structure from school days, to homework requirements, and practice schedules.  In the summer, it can be quite a different scenario for students. If left completely unstructured for the entire summer holiday, the transition back into school might be a struggle for some students.  Enrolling students in a summer class at TSDPAC will create a sense of structure,  supporting their cognitive and emotional development, and easing their way into the new school year in the fall.

KEEPIN' IT SOCIAL

During the summer break, it can be challenging for kids to see their friends outside of school.  When they are involved in the summer classes at TSDPAC they can socialize while participating in a positive and energizing physical activity!  Many of our classes have a variety of activities to keep our students engaged with each other and allow them to work together in groups.  It’s a fun and easy way for your child to see their peers while being

part of our TSDPAC community.

KEEPIN' IT CASUAL

During the regular season, some students may be intimidated to try a new class. During the summer, the studio environment is a little more relaxed and can eliminate any anxieties a student may have.  Whether they are new to the studio or want to try a new class,  our summer classes have a more casual vibe.  Teachers are able to allow for more time and individual attention for their students. This will result in them feeling more confident and comfortable when the regular season begins.

KEEPIN' IT SHARP

There is no secret to being great at any activity. Consistently working on your craft is the only way to ensure that you not only maintain the skills you’ve obtained, but also build on them.  During the summer, our students are able to work on specific skills, explore new ones, and develop themselves as dancers or gymnasts. We strive to create a standard of developing and enhancing our students and their work ethic.
